Ready-to-use business desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s is a small-form-factor desktop that ships new with Windows 11 Pro, a 6-core Intel Core i7-8700 processor, 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 256 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB hard drive. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles display output. A USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle, DVD-ROM drive, wired keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

Check power and expansion space

The 65 W processor and SFF chassis limit internal upgrades to low-profile cards and the existing 240-pin DDR4 slots. Verify that your monitor uses a video input supported by the integrated graphics and that any add-in card fits the slim case height before ordering.

Suits office and home admin; not for heavy 3D

Buyers needing a quiet, compact PC for productivity, web apps and multi-monitor desk work will find the specification matches that workload. Users who want discrete graphics performance, additional drive bays or a standard ATX form factor should look at a larger tower configuration.

Questions about this item

Does the box include the keyboard, mouse and monitor, or do I need to buy them separately?

A Lenovo USB keyboard and USB mouse are included in the box; a monitor is not included and must be purchased separately.

Which storage layout does this model ship with — the 256 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB hard drive or a different combination?

This unit ships with a 256 GB M.2 solid-state drive for the operating system and a 1 TB hard drive for additional storage, totalling 32 GB of DDR4 memory.

What does the 4.6 GHz turbo figure mean when the i7-8700 is running everyday office workloads inside this SFF chassis?

The 4.6 GHz is the maximum single-core turbo frequency the Intel Core i7-8700 can reach under light loads; sustained multi-core speeds will be lower due to the 65 W power limit and small-form-factor cooling.
