Compact desktop with dedicated graphics

This HP EliteDesk 800 G2 is a small-form-factor Windows 11 Pro system built around an Intel Core i5-6500 quad-core processor running at 3.20 GHz with a 3.60 GHz turbo. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD. An AMD Radeon RX 550 graphics card with GDDR5 memory provides discrete video output over HDMI and DisplayPort.

Suits entry gaming and office multitasking

The 32 GB DDR4 capacity and dedicated RX 550 make this unit a good fit for 1080p esports titles, streaming media and heavy browser workloads. Buyers who need more than 32 GB of system memory or a graphics card newer than the RX 550 should look at a different configuration.

RX 550 graphics decides the visual ceiling

The installed AMD Radeon RX 550 is the single component that determines which games and creative apps run acceptably. If your workload demands higher frame rates at 1080p or any 1440p gaming, this graphics card will be the limiting factor.
