14" FHD business ultrabook

The HP ProBook 640 G5 is a 14-inch Full HD laptop built for professionals who need a portable Windows 11 Pro machine with an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor. It targets office workers, remote staff and IT fleets that value manageability features such as Intel vPro and HP Sure Start. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday productivity and video playback.

Silver aluminium unibody with USB-C Power Delivery

The chassis uses a silver aluminium unibody that resists flex during daily transport. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.1, HDMI, three USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports and one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 connector that supports Power Delivery and DisplayPort output. A 720p webcam and dual-storage layout (512 GB M.2 plus 1 TB SSD) are built in.

Upgrade from dual-core or mechanical-drive laptops

This configuration replaces older dual-core ultrabooks or systems still running SATA hard drives, delivering four cores, eight threads and all-solid-state storage for faster boot and application load times. The jump is worth it when your workload involves multitasking across Office apps, browser tabs and video calls. Buyers who need discrete graphics, a touchscreen or more than 8 GB of soldered memory should look elsewhere.
