Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 access point with MU-MIMO and four internal antennas delivering up to 1700 Mbps wireless and 1000 Mbps wired throughput
The HPE Aruba Networking APIN0315 is a dual-band wireless access point built for Wi-Fi 5 environments. It uses four internal antennas with MU-MIMO to serve multiple clients simultaneously. The unit includes a power supply and is intended for indoor deployments where AC1700 throughput is required.
The access point operates without fans, relying on passive thermal dissipation through its chassis. Power is supplied via the included AC adapter, eliminating the need for a separate PoE injector or switch. Silent operation makes it suitable for offices, classrooms or reception areas where noise must be minimal.
The radio tops out at 1700 Mbps aggregate wireless throughput while the single Ethernet port carries up to 1000 Mbps wired traffic. That uplink speed caps the real-world wireless performance, so the AP suits sites where the backhaul link is gigabit and client counts stay within Wi-Fi 5 capacity limits.

Mount the unit on a ceiling or wall using the included bracket, then connect the Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port for PoE power; the step often missed is securing the safety tether before final tightening.
The internal antennas and radios are sealed, so no user-serviceable parts exist; plan to replace the entire unit when firmware support ends or if the power supply fails.
The wired uplink caps at 1000 Mbps, so aggregate client throughput cannot exceed that ceiling even though the radios signal 1700 Mbps.
