This Aruba X141 module provides a single 40G QSFP+ port with LC connectors for bidirectional transmission over multi-mode fibre. It supports 40 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 150 metres in optical and data networking environments. The transceiver is designed for the Aruba 8400X Switch Series.

Hot-pluggable QSFP+ installation

The module inserts directly into a compatible QSFP+ cage without tools or power cycling the switch. Alignment is critical; the LC connector key must match the port orientation to avoid damaging the ferrule. Dust caps should stay fitted until the fibre patch cord is ready to connect.
