A QSFP28 direct-attach copper cable providing 100 Gb Ethernet connectivity over one metre
The HPE Juniper Networking JNP-100G-DAC-1M is a 100G QSFP28 direct attach copper cable built for short reach connections between switches, routers or servers. It ships as a single 1 m twinax assembly with QSFP28 connectors on both ends. The module is new and ready for immediate deployment in compatible networking gear.
This cable replaces legacy lower speed copper interconnects or short range optical transceivers where a fixed 1 m reach is acceptable. The jump is worth it when you need 100 Gbps throughput without the cost and complexity of separate transceivers and patch cords. It is not suited for runs longer than 1 m or for equipment that lacks QSFP28 ports.
Measured against everything we stock in Switch Modules, Transceivers & Add-Ons, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.
No published specifications for this item yet.
It plugs directly into a QSFP28 port on the switch; no separate transceiver is required.
Remove the dust caps from both QSFP28 connectors and insert each end firmly until the latch clicks.
