5MP Solar Wireless Security Camera

The ieGeek ZS-GX4S delivers 5 megapixel resolution at 2592 by 1944 pixels for detailed outdoor monitoring. It operates completely wireless on battery power supplemented by a solar panel, removing the need for mains wiring. The pan-tilt mechanism covers a full 360-degree horizontal view. Alexa compatibility allows voice control integration.

IP65 Weather Resistance & Low-Power Operation

Built to an IP65 rating, the camera withstands rain and dust in year-round outdoor use. Solar charging keeps the internal battery topped up during normal daylight, minimising manual recharges. The spotlight and siren activate only when motion is detected, conserving power between events. Colour night vision provides clear footage after dark without auxiliary lighting.

Single-Camera Kit with Dual App Support

The package includes one camera unit and supports live viewing through both the ieGeek Cam and CloudEdge applications. The ieGeek Cam app can display up to four ieGeek devices simultaneously for multi-camera households. Optional paid recognition distinguishes pets, vehicles and packages. Two-way audio enables remote conversation with visitors.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360° PTZ solar camera and what step is most often missed?

Mount the bracket where the solar panel receives direct sunlight, connect the panel cable before powering on, then pair the camera in the ieGeek Cam or CloudEdge app; the step most often missed is aiming the panel for maximum daily sun exposure.

What maintenance or replacement will the 5MP solar camera need later?

The built-in rechargeable battery will gradually hold less charge and typically requires replacement after several years; the solar panel surface should be wiped clean periodically to maintain charging efficiency.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the 2592x1944 colour night vision camera?

Continuous colour night vision with the spotlight active drains the battery fastest, so extended low-light recording will trigger low-power mode before storage or processing limits are reached.
