5MP wired floodlight camera

The ieGeek ZY-E2 combines a 5MP imaging sensor with dual-band 2.4 and 5.0 GHz WiFi in a single wired unit. Integrated 2600LM LED floodlights and a built-in siren activate on motion. Colour night vision reaches 25m and two-way audio lets you speak to visitors remotely.

Sustained outdoor operation

Continuous 24/7 recording captures every event without gaps. PIR motion detection with adjustable 1-10 sensitivity reduces false alerts during long monitoring periods. Optional sound detection adds another trigger layer for persistent surveillance needs.

Pre-installation checks

Verify a permanent wired power supply is available at the mounting location. Confirm your router broadcasts on 2.4 or 5.0 GHz bands for the camera to connect. Ensure the Alexa ecosystem is used if voice integration is required. Check that a 25m viewing distance covers the intended area.

Questions about this item

How much power do the 2600LM floodlights draw when they run all night?

The two LED floodlights produce 2600 lumens and include manual brightness adjustment so you can lower output to reduce energy use during overnight operation.

Does the camera need an existing wired network cable or can it run on Wi-Fi alone?

It connects via dual-band Wi-Fi at 2.4 GHz or 5.0 GHz; no Ethernet cable is required for the network link.

Will the 5 MP sensor still record clear footage if I keep my older 1080p NVR?

The camera streams at 5 MP resolution; an older 1080p recorder would downscale the feed, so you would lose the extra detail this sensor provides.
