Solo 1080P Wireless Camera

The Mi GW30 is a single 1080P IP camera built for outdoor home security. It connects over 2.4G WiFi and draws power from a 5200mAh battery paired with a solar panel. The IP65 housing operates from -10°C to 45°C. AI human detection and colour night vision are included.

App Setup and Solar Placement

Installation is handled through the Osaio app on Android with no wiring required. The camera mounts on a wall or pole and must face the sun for reliable charging. Obstructions, heavy cloud or wrong orientation will shorten battery life. PIR sensitivity has three levels to reduce false alerts from wind or foliage.

2.4G WiFi Range and Storage Limits

The 2.4G link reaches only as far as the router signal allows; thick walls or distance can drop the stream. Continuous 24/7 recording is not supported — the camera wakes on motion to save power. Footage saves to a local SD card or optional cloud subscription. AI recognition for people, packages, vehicles and pets requires that subscription.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the GW30 camera is working correctly after installation?

Open the Osaio app to view the live 1080P feed, then use pan controls to confirm 355° horizontal and 90° vertical movement. Trigger the PIR sensor to check motion alerts and test two-way audio.

What comes with the single GW30 unit and what must I purchase separately?

The box includes one GW30 camera with integrated 3W solar panel, 5200mAh battery, and mounting hardware. A microSD card for local storage and an optional AI recognition subscription are sold separately.

Which GW30 version should I choose for full coverage of a wide driveway?

The single GW30 model provides 355° horizontal and 90° vertical rotation with 1080P resolution, eliminating blind spots across large areas without needing multiple fixed-angle cameras.
