Four-computer dual-monitor KVM

This DisplayPort 1.4 KVM switch lets four computers share two monitors and a single keyboard and mouse set. It is aimed at multi-system workstations, trading desks and home offices that need to control several PCs from one seat. The unit handles both extended and duplicate display modes for flexible desktop layouts. No software installation is required on any connected host.

8K 60 Hz and 4K 144 Hz headroom

Each DisplayPort 1.4 channel supports up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz, with backwards compatibility for lower resolutions. The dual-monitor topology provides two independent video paths per computer, so both screens can run at their native rates simultaneously. Bandwidth is sufficient for high-refresh gaming on one monitor and productivity on the other. Very high resolutions beyond 8K or refresh rates above 144 Hz at 4K are not supported.

Bundled cables and wired remote

The package includes four USB 3.0 cables for upstream computer links, a 12 V power adapter, a 1.5 m wired push-button controller and a user manual. The remote button lets you place the switch out of sight and toggle inputs from the desk edge. DisplayPort cables for the monitor outputs and computer inputs are not supplied and must be sourced separately. Hot-key switching is not available on this model.

Questions about this item

Will the IHDAPP 4×2 DP 1.4 KVM work with my older PCs that only output 4K@60Hz?

Yes. The switch is backwards compatible and will pass 4K@60Hz signals from legacy sources to both monitors without any extra setup.

How do I confirm the switch is passing an 8K@60Hz signal to both displays after I connect everything?

Power on the unit, select a port using the front button or wired controller, then check that each monitor’s on-screen menu reports 8K at 60 Hz and that the corresponding LED for that port is lit.

Which cables and accessories are included, and what must I buy separately to run four computers on two monitors?

The box contains the KVM, four USB 3.0 cables, a 12 V power adapter, a 1.5 m wired button controller and the manual; you must supply eight DisplayPort cables (two per computer) to complete the 4×2 setup.
