Impact M908 Gaming Mouse

The Impact M908 is a right-handed optical gaming mouse built for MMO players who rely on abundant side-button access. It delivers a maximum sensitivity of 12400 DPI with five hardware presets and software-adjustable steps down to 200 DPI. A Pixart PAW3327 sensor provides 1000 Hz polling and 30G acceleration for responsive tracking.

18 Programmable Buttons and 12 Side Keys

The mouse offers 18 programmable buttons, including 12 side buttons arranged for thumb-grid macros and ability rotations. Five onboard memory profiles store button maps and RGB colours for quick switching between games. The 12400 DPI ceiling covers fast-twitch aiming, while the 200 DPI floor suits precision work, though the fixed 175 g weight may feel heavy for low-sensitivity flick shots.

175 g Build with Weight Tuning and Braided Cable

An eight-piece 2.4 g weight set lets you fine-tune mass without tools, and PTFE feet provide smooth glide across mouse pads. The 6 ft braided-fibre cable terminates in a gold-plated USB connector for durable wired connectivity. RGB backlighting spans 16.8 million colours and can be disabled, while software support is limited to Windows operating systems.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 side buttons and 1000 Hz polling rate work through my older USB 2.0 ports?

Yes, the mouse only needs a USB port and the 1000 Hz polling rate operates over standard USB 2.0 connections.

How can I verify the Pixart PAW3327 sensor is tracking at the 12400 DPI setting I selected?

Open the M908 software, set the DPI to 12400, then move the mouse — the on-screen pointer speed will reflect the high sensitivity.

Does the box include the 8-piece weight tuning set and the 6 ft braided cable, or must I buy them separately?

Both the 8-piece weight tuning set (2.4 g each) and the 6 ft braided cable with gold-plated USB connector are included.
