Fanless industrial mini PC

The Inctel I3-i5 8250U-16G2401T is a fanless Mini PC built around an Intel Core i5-8250U processor with Intel UHD Graphics 620. It ships with Windows 10 Pro, 16GB DDR4 memory, a 240GB SSD and a 1TB HDD. The aluminium chassis acts as a heatsink for silent operation in dust-sensitive or noise-free environments.

Sustained load on passive cooling

Under continuous workloads the passively cooled system relies on its aluminium case to dissipate heat without moving parts. The 15W mobile processor and integrated UHD 620 graphics maintain stable clocks for typical industrial or HTPC tasks while the fanless design eliminates bearing wear and dust ingestion.

Mounting and peripheral connectivity

Mounting ears on the 234x150x43mm chassis allow wall or DIN-rail installation in cabinets. I/O includes HDMI, VGA, Gigabit LAN, three USB 2.0, four USB 3.0, audio jacks and two RS-232 COM ports for legacy equipment. The DC 12V 5A power adapter accepts 100-240V AC input. Internal expansion supports one mSATA SSD, one M.2 SSD and one 2.5-inch drive bay.

Questions about this item

How much heat and noise does the fanless aluminium chassis produce when the i5-8250U runs continuously?

The fanless design uses the aluminium case as a heatsink, so there are no moving parts and no audible fan noise. The 15 W processor stays within its thermal envelope during all-day operation.

Which peripherals must I already own to start using this mini PC?

You need a display with HDMI or VGA input, a USB keyboard and mouse, and a network cable or Wi-Fi connection. The unit ships with a 12 V 5 A power adapter and Wi-Fi antennas.

Will my existing DDR3L memory modules work alongside the installed 16 GB DDR4?

No. This model uses DDR4 SO-DIMMs only; DDR3L modules are not compatible. The board has two slots supporting up to 32 GB total at 2133 or 2400 MT/s.
