What this paper is and who uses it

Inkpress Luster Premium is a bright white, resin-coated photograde inkjet paper with a professional luster finish. It measures 17 by 38 inches and weighs 240gsm at 10.4 mil thickness. The pack contains 20 single-sided sheets optimised for both dye and pigment inkjet printers.

What it replaces and when the step up matters

This sheet upgrades from standard glossy or matte papers when you need instant drying with UltraChrome and other pigmented inks. The microporous coating prevents puddling and eliminates black shadows on highlights. The jump is worth it for photographers and graphic designers who require smudge-free output on large-format prints.

Behaviour under sustained printing load

The ultra-absorbent resin coating maintains consistent ink adhesion across long print runs without smudging or surface marking. Prints stay crisp and clear because the coating stops pigment from sitting on top of the surface. The substantial 240gsm weight resists wear during handling of multiple large sheets.

Questions about this item

Will the 17x38" sheets fit my 17-inch roll-feed printer?

These are 17-by-38-inch cut sheets, not a roll, so they require a printer that accepts 17-inch wide single sheets or a manual feed tray for that length.

How do I load the paper so the resin-coated side prints correctly?

Load sheets with the bright white, luster-finish side facing the print head; the reverse side is uncoated and will not accept ink properly.

How should I store unused sheets to keep the microporous coating working?

Keep the remaining sheets in the original box, flat, at room temperature and low humidity; reseal the bag after each use to prevent moisture from affecting instant-dry performance.
