Questions about this item

Will the 12 MB L2 cache need any maintenance or replacement over time?

No, the 12 MB L2 cache is built into the Xeon processor and has no moving parts or serviceable components that require maintenance or replacement.

What is the first limit reached under sustained heavy load on this 80 W processor?

The 80 W thermal design power is the first limit reached; sustained heavy load will hit the thermal envelope before other constraints appear.
