Intellinet Cat8.1 Slim Patch Cable 10-Pack

This ten-pack supplies 3 ft yellow Cat8.1 U/FTP cables built with 30 AWG stranded bare copper and gold-plated RJ45 connectors. Each cable is rated for 40 Gbps at 2 GHz and meets ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173-1 Class I requirements. The ultra-thin design simplifies routing in dense racks and tight pathways.

Upgrade from Cat6a or older cabling

Moving to Cat8.1 is worthwhile when 25GBase-T or 40GBase-T links are needed for Top-of-Rack or Middle-of-Row runs in data centres. The foil shielding around every pair suppresses alien crosstalk at 2000 MHz, and the snag-free boots protect the latch during frequent re-patching. Legacy Cat6 or Cat6a links cannot sustain these speeds over the same distance.

Handles 40 Gbps and PoE++ loads

The 100 % copper conductors carry 40 Gbps Ethernet plus IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ power without voltage-drop concerns at this length. Headroom exists for future 25G and 40G server uplinks and for HDBaseT video runs. The slim jacket eases bundle management but offers no extra mechanical protection, so runs through heavy-traffic floor ducts need conduit.
