This 10 m yellow patch cable uses OS2 singlemode fiber with 9/125 µm cores and LC/UPC connectors on both ends. Bend-insensitive glass rated to G.657.A1 reduces attenuation when the cable is routed through tight paths. It is built for interconnect and cross-connect work in entrance facilities, telecom rooms, data centres and desk-side connections.

Upgrade from Multimode or Standard Singlemode

The jump is worthwhile when links must run longer than multimode allows or when 40 Gbit/s Ethernet and higher data rates are required.
