Two-Port HDMI KVM Switch

The IOGEAR GCS62HU lets one HDMI monitor, USB keyboard and mouse control two computers. Built-in 3.5 mm audio and microphone jacks pass sound to a single headset or speaker set. Hot-key, push-button or mouse-gesture switching changes the active system instantly.

Home-office users isolating work and personal PCs

Ideal for anyone who needs to keep an internet-facing machine and a secure intranet machine physically separate while sharing one desk setup. Not suited for setups requiring more than two computer ports, resolutions above 1920 x 1200, or digital audio formats beyond analogue stereo.

Handles 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz on a single screen

Comfortably drives standard office monitors at full refresh rate with keyboard, mouse and analogue audio. Runs out of headroom if you need 4K output, multi-monitor spanning, or more than two connected hosts.

Questions about this item

What cables do I need on each computer for the GCS62HU to carry video, keyboard, mouse, speakers and microphone?

Each computer requires an HDMI cable for video, two USB Type A cables for keyboard and mouse, a 3.5mm stereo jack for audio output and a 3.5mm jack for microphone input.

Will my 1920 x 1200 monitor at 60Hz work through this switch without scaling issues?

The switch supports up to 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz, so a monitor at that native resolution will display correctly.

How can I confirm the active computer after I press the remote pushbutton?

The green On Line LED for the selected port lights up, showing which computer is currently connected to the console.
