This trayless hot-swap cage converts three standard 5.25-inch drive bays into four 3.5-inch SAS or SATA drive slots. It is built for servers or workstations that need high-density storage with quick drive changes. The aluminium frame and integrated heat-sink design help keep drives cool during sustained workloads. A metal key lock on the front bezel secures the drives against unauthorised removal.

Check bay space, controller and power

Verify that your chassis has three adjacent 5.25-inch bays free and that the case depth can accommodate the cage length. You need a SAS or SATA controller that supports 6.0 Gb/s transfer rates and RAID if you plan to use a RAID configuration. Each drive requires a standard SATA power connector from your power supply. The cage also needs a free motherboard or fan-header connection for the 80 mm cooling fan.

Aluminium build, trayless loading, lockable bezel
