A single 80mm fan with speed control and an all-aluminium body with conductive grooves keep temperatures low. LED indicators show power, fan status and high-temperature alerts. It is built for servers and workstations that need removable drives without opening the case.

Replaces fixed internal trays

Swapping a stationary 3.5in mount for this cage adds hot-swap removal and RAID 1, 0, 1+0 or 5 support when paired with a separate RAID controller. The jump is worth it when uptime matters and drives must be exchanged while the system runs. It also lets you run up to 6Gbps transfer rates on SATA I, II or III drives. Builders who need more than three bays or who cannot spare two 5.25in slots should look elsewhere.

Fits standard 5.25in front openings

The aluminium frame slides into two adjacent 5.25in bays and secures with screws. Each carrier accepts 2.5in or 3.5in SAS and SATA drives, so mixed capacities are possible. The integrated 70mm fan pulls air front-to-back, freeing the main chassis fans from direct drive cooling. A compatible RAID controller and enough SATA ports on the host are required to use the RAID modes.
