It is built for servers and workstations that need high-density storage without sacrificing front-panel space. The unit supports RAID 1, 0, 1+0 and 5 when paired with a separate RAID controller.

The main body and handles are aluminium, finished with conductive dissipation grooves that pull heat away from the drives. A single 80 mm fan provides front-to-back airflow across all four bays. Front LEDs show power, drive activity, fan status and high-temperature warnings so operators can monitor health at a glance.
