Compact 2U rackmount chassis

The iStarUSA D-200SEA-RD-T7SA is a 2U server rack cabinet with a red aluminum-alloy front bezel and a 1.2mm SECC zinc-coated steel main chassis. It supports ATX, microATX and mini-ITX motherboards up to 12" x 9.6" and provides two 3.5" and two 5.25" drive bays. Three low-profile expansion slots are available for add-in cards. A key lock on the front bezel secures the interior.

Drive bay and cooling constraints

Only two 3.5" and two 5.25" bays are provided, so deployments needing more than four drives must use external enclosures. The standard configuration includes a single 80mm fan; adding three 60mm fans requires the optional DD-FANGUARD-6 bracket. Temperature and fan-speed LEDs function only when the TC-ISF08 sensor board is installed. The chassis accepts 2U form-factor power supplies only.

Installation notes

The unit fits a standard 19.00" rack and measures 3.50" high by 20.80" deep. Front-panel USB 2.0 ports, power and reset switches, and power/HDD LEDs are wired to standard motherboard headers. Builders must verify that their 2U PSU and CPU cooler clearances match the 3.50" internal height. The patented aluminum front panel with locks adds physical security but requires the key for routine drive access.
