36U steel server cabinet

The iStarUSA W3610 is a 36U rack enclosure built from steel with a black finish. It supports a weight capacity of 1,700 lbs and conforms to ANSI/EIA RS-310-D and IEC 297-2 standards. Universal mounting rails fit chassis from major vendors and iStarUSA units. Locking front and rear doors restrict access to installed equipment.

Suited for 36U deployments needing 1000 mm depth

This cabinet serves installations that require 36 rack units and a 1000 mm deep frame. The honey-cone air grid promotes front-to-rear airflow for active cooling. Adjustable horizontal rails allow precise chassis positioning. Buyers needing a different rack-unit count or a shallower depth should consider other models.

1000 mm depth confirms chassis fit

The 1000 mm depth specification is the primary constraint for hardware compatibility. Equipment deeper than this dimension will not install correctly. Verify the maximum depth of every chassis, cable manager and PDU before purchase. The adjustable rails accommodate varying mounting-hole patterns within the usable depth.

Questions about this item

Will the adjustable mounting rails on this 36U rack need periodic re-tightening?

The fully adjustable horizontal mounting rails are designed to hold position once set; no scheduled re-tightening is specified by iStarUSA.

Does the 1,700 lb weight capacity or the 1000 mm depth limit how much equipment I can install?

The 1,700 lb weight capacity is the primary structural limit; the 1000 mm depth determines maximum chassis length, not load.

How much heat builds up inside the cabinet when it runs continuously with the honey-cone air grid?

The honey-cone air grid provides maximum airflow to dissipate heat, but internal temperature depends on the installed equipment's thermal output.
