12U Wood-Finish Server Cabinet

The StarTech.com RKWOODCAB12 is a 12U wall-mount cabinet with a wood exterior designed to hold IT equipment in office environments. It ships flat-packed and includes four casters for mobility. The enclosure suits small businesses or home offices wanting a discreet rack that blends with furniture.

20.6in Depth and 300lb Capacity

The cabinet measures 26.1in high, 22in wide and 26in deep, giving a usable depth of 20.6in for mounted gear. Its frame is rated for 300lbs (136kg) of equipment. Installers must ensure devices and cabling fit within the 20.6in limit and that total weight stays under the rated capacity.

Glass Front Door With Locking Latches

A glass front door with two locking latches and two keys secures the front of the rack while keeping equipment visible. Buyers who need a solid metal door, a perforated door for higher airflow, or a keyed-alike set for multiple cabinets cannot use this configuration.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 12U size for my office gear?

The cabinet provides 12U of rack space, which fits up to 12 standard 1U servers or network devices.

What does the 300lb capacity mean once the rack is loaded?

The frame is rated for 300lbs (136kg) total, so the combined weight of all mounted equipment must stay at or below that figure.

How do the wood panels and glass door affect airflow and access?

The wood front, rear and side panels enclose the rack while the glass front door allows visual checks; a ventilation panel and cable entry panel are included for airflow and cable routing.
