9U rack cabinet for office and studio use

The iStarUSA WG-990 is a 9U server cabinet designed for offices, small businesses, research labs and professional studios. Its compact desk-side footprint suits environments where floor space is limited but standard 19-inch rack equipment must be secured and cooled.

29-inch depth supports most rackmount chassis

The cabinet accepts equipment up to 29 inches deep, covering the majority of standard rackmount servers and devices. A 2200 lbs weight capacity provides ample headroom for dense configurations, while the 9U height limits the total number of units that can be installed in a single enclosure.

Aluminium frame with lockable steel panels

An aluminium frame combines with SPCC cold-rolled steel panels ranging from 1.2 mm to 2.0 mm thickness for rigid construction. Front, rear and side doors each carry a security lock to prevent unauthorised access, and optional 120 mm cooling fans can be fitted to the vented doors for active airflow management.

Questions about this item

Will the WG-990 9U rack accept my existing 19-inch rackmount servers that are 29 inches deep?

Yes, the internal depth supports chassis up to 29 inches and the universal 19-inch mounting rails fit standard rackmount equipment.

How can I verify the cooling fans are operating correctly after installation?

The optional 120mm AC fans provide audible airflow through the vented front and rear doors; you can confirm operation by feeling air movement at the door vents.

Does the cabinet ship fully assembled with mounting hardware, or must I buy cage nuts and rails separately?

The unit includes the aluminum frame, SPCC steel panels, locking front/rear doors, side panels, and mounting rails; cage nuts and screws for your equipment are not included.
