Flat Cat6 cable for tidy runs

This flat Cat6 Ethernet cable measures 25 ft and uses 30 AWG conductors with gold-plated RJ45 connectors. It is built for 10Gbps performance up to 250 MHz and supports 10BASE-T through 10GBASE-T standards. The white jacket suits home and office networks where a low-profile cable is preferred.

Easy routing with included clips

The flat profile lets the cable run along walls, follow edges and corners, or slide under carpet for a near-invisible install. Ten cable clips are bundled so you can secure the run without buying separate hardware. UTP construction with 100% bare copper keeps noise and interference low during and after installation.

10Gbps headroom for typical LAN gear

Rated for 10GBASE-T, the cable comfortably handles gigabit and 10-gigabit links to PCs, servers, printers, routers, switches, NAS and VoIP phones. The 30 AWG gauge limits maximum run length compared with thicker cables, so very long backbone runs may need a heavier gauge. Outdoor-rated jacket adds flexibility for exterior segments.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the cable is delivering 10 Gbps after installation?

Connect it between 10GBASE-T ports and run a speed test or transfer a large file; the link should negotiate at 10 Gbps and sustain throughput near that rate.

What is included with the 25 ft flat cable and what must I source separately?

The box contains the 25 ft Cat6 flat patch cable with RJ45 gold-plated connectors and 10 cable clips; no other hardware or tools are bundled.

Should I choose the 25 ft or 50 ft version for a typical room run?

Pick the 25 ft length if the distance between devices is 25 ft or less; choose 50 ft only when the run exceeds 25 ft to avoid excess slack.
