Dolby Atmos elevation speakers

The Jamo Studio 8 S 8 ATM-WL is a pair of compact Dolby Atmos enabled modules designed to sit on top of compatible Jamo bookshelf or floor-standing speakers. They add overhead sound effects for movie soundtracks by reflecting audio off the ceiling. This solution targets home cinema enthusiasts who want immersive height channels without installing in-ceiling speakers.

Integrated mounting and connectors

Each module features customised connectors on its base that plug directly into the matching speaker below, creating a secure, single-unit stack. The host speaker provides an extra set of input terminals for the receiver's Atmos channel, so no separate speaker wire runs are needed for the elevation modules. The walnut finish matches the Studio 8 series aesthetic for a cohesive look in modern living spaces.

Passive operation with upward-firing drivers

As passive speakers, the modules draw power from the AV receiver's dedicated Atmos amplifier channels, adding no mains plug or extra heat source to the system. The upward-firing drivers project height effects toward the ceiling for reflection down to the listening position. Normal use produces no fan noise or active cooling requirements, keeping the installation silent aside from the soundtrack itself.
