Converts composite RCA video to HDMI 1080p or 720p at 60 Hz for modern displays
The Jansicotek converter takes analogue RCA composite signals from older consoles, VCRs or DVD players and turns them into a digital HDMI feed at 720p or 1080p. It is aimed at anyone who wants to keep using legacy AV gear on a modern television or monitor without installing drivers or extra software.
The unit accepts PAL, NTSC3.58, NTSC4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N standards but cannot process component, S-Video or RGB sources. Output is fixed at 1080p or 720p at 60 Hz with no upscaling options beyond those two resolutions. A 5 V USB power connection is mandatory for operation and the adapter is not supplied.
The black plastic housing is compact and light enough to sit behind a TV stand without straining cables. One end carries three colour-coded RCA sockets plus a USB power lead; the other end presents a single standard HDMI port. Plug-and-play operation means the box works as soon as power and both cables are connected.

The converter offers 1080p at 60 Hz or 720p at 60 Hz; pick the one your TV or monitor lists as its native resolution.
It means the box will upscale the analog composite signal to a 1920×1080 picture at 60 frames per second over HDMI.
The HDMI output is capped at 1080p/60 Hz or 720p/60 Hz, so higher resolutions or faster refresh rates are not possible.
