Multifunction 192KHz DAC Converter

This Jansicotek unit converts digital audio from three sources — Bluetooth 5.0, optical Toslink and USB flash drives — into analogue stereo on both RCA phono and 3.5 mm jacks. A built-in DAC chip handles PCM and LPCM streams at sampling rates up to 192 kHz and 24-bit depth. Volume is adjusted by a front-panel knob and the supplied infrared remote control.

Users needing wireless

The converter suits anyone connecting a phone, TV optical output or USB stick directly to an amplifier, powered speakers or headphones without a separate streamer or AV receiver. It is not for installations that require coaxial digital input, balanced XLR output, multi-channel surround decoding or network streaming protocols.

192 kHz 24-bit maximum sampling rate

Optical and USB inputs accept PCM/LPCM at 32, 44.1, 48, 96 and 192 kHz; the headphone amplifier delivers 125 mW per channel into 32 ohms and supports impedances from 16 to 300 ohms. If your source material uses higher sample rates or bit depths this device will not pass them through.

Questions about this item

How often will the USB power cable need replacing under daily use?

The converter draws power through the supplied USB cable; no internal battery or consumable part requires scheduled replacement.

What sampling-rate ceiling limits the optical input when playing high-resolution tracks continuously?

Optical and coaxial inputs accept PCM or LPCM at 32, 44.1, 48, 96 and 192 KHz, so 192 KHz is the highest supported rate.

How warm does the unit get and does the fan run loudly during all-day Bluetooth streaming?

The device has no fan; it runs silently and stays cool because the 125 mW headphone amplifier operates well within its 16 to 300 ohm load range.
