Connects 2.5" or 3.5" SATA and IDE drives to USB 3.0, accessing three drives at once with 5 Gbps transfer and 12 V power included
This USB 3.0 to SATA and IDE adapter connects 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA or IDE hard drives and SSDs to a computer through a single USB port. It provides one SATA II connector plus 40-pin and 44-pin IDE connectors so you can access up to three drives at the same time for cloning, backup or data recovery. The device is plug-and-play on Windows, macOS and Linux.
Verify that your drives use standard SATA or 40-pin and 44-pin IDE interfaces; other connector types are not supported. The kit includes a 12 V 2 A power supply that must be used for 3.5 inch drives and optical drives, while 2.5 inch units can often run from the USB port alone. Ensure a free USB 3.0 or 2.0 port is available on the host system.
The adapter draws power from the included 12 V 2 A supply for larger drives and from the USB bus for smaller ones, with no active cooling fan fitted. Operation is silent because there are no moving parts in the converter itself. An LED indicator shows power and activity status while data transfers run at up to 5 Gbps over USB 3.0.

The package includes a 12V/2A power supply and a USB 3.0 cable, so no extra purchases are required for power or host connection.
It connects 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDDs or SSDs, plus 2.5" (44-pin) and 3.5" (40-pin) IDE hard drives, and optical drives such as DVD-ROM or CD-RW.
The 5 Gbps ceiling is the USB 3.0 bus limit; real-world throughput will be capped by the connected drive's own SATA speed, typically well below the theoretical maximum.
