Power adapter and loop-through output

A supplied power adapter runs the converter while the USB cable provides charging only. The SDI loop output passes the original signal to a second SDI display at up to 2.97 Gbps, enabling simultaneous monitoring without signal degradation.

Distance and cascade limits

Cable runs reach 300 ft for 3G-SDI, 500 ft for HD-SDI and 1000 ft for SD-SDI. The re-clock function allows multiple units in series, though the manufacturer advises against cascading with identical converters. HDMI output stops at 1080p 60 Hz.
