Share four USB 2.0 peripherals between two computers with one-button switching and LED indication
This USB 2.0 switch connects four peripheral devices to two separate computers, allowing instant switching between systems with a single button press. It suits home users with multiple PCs or Macs and small offices that need shared access to a printer, scanner, keyboard, mouse or flash drive without unplugging cables. No driver installation is required on supported operating systems.
The package includes two USB A-to-A cables for immediate connection to both computers, and the switch draws power from the USB bus so no external adapter is needed for basic peripherals. A separate micro-USB port is provided for an optional standard 5 V adapter, which is not included, to stabilise operation with higher-draw devices such as portable hard drives, SSDs or digital video cameras.
The switch operates at USB 2.0 speeds, so large file transfers to external storage will be slower than on a direct USB 3.0 or faster connection. Bus power alone may not sustain multiple high-current devices simultaneously, and any external adapter must supply exactly 5 V because higher voltages can damage the unit. It does not support video output or single-cable docking.

The switch is plug-and-play with no driver installation required, so no firmware updates are expected for the USB 2.0 ports.
The single upstream USB 2.0 connection to the active computer caps total bandwidth for all four shared peripherals.
It is bus-powered with no fan, so it runs silently and produces minimal heat; an optional 5 V adapter can be added for power-hungry devices.
