Shared 4-Port USB 2.0 Switch

The LUOM E-yield T05 lets two computers share four USB 2.0 peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, flash drives or card readers. A single button toggles the active host while LEDs show which system is connected. It targets home offices or small workplaces where cable swapping is impractical.

Bundled Cables and Optional Power

Two USB cables are included so both computers can be connected immediately. A micro-USB female port accepts an external 5 V adapter (not supplied) to stabilise power-hungry devices such as portable hard drives, SSDs or digital video cameras. Without the adapter the switch draws power from the host ports only.

Plug-and-Play Setup

No driver installation is required on Windows 10, 8.1, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X, Linux or Chrome OS; the device is recognised automatically. Press the button to switch hosts, which takes about three seconds per AutoScan interval. The only common issue is insufficient bus power for high-draw peripherals unless the optional 5 V adapter is used.
