A 10 ft USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable delivers 8K at 60 Hz with 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and HDR support
This 10 ft cable connects a USB Type-C source to a DisplayPort 1.4 display. It supports 8K resolution at 60 Hz with 10-bit colour HDR and 4K at 144 Hz. The link is rated for 32.4 Gbps bandwidth using HBR3 signalling and DSC 1.2 compression. It suits users who need a single high-resolution connection from a Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 3 port.
The cable uses triple shielding and solid copper conductors to maintain signal integrity over its full length. Backward compatibility with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 ensures stable operation with older displays. Forward error correction and 32-bit audio transmission are supported without external power. No active cooling or additional power draw is required.
The male USB-C and male DisplayPort plugs connect directly without adapters. Multi-Stream Transport allows multiple monitors from one port when the host supports it. FreeSync and G-Sync variable refresh rates function through the cable. It does not suit setups needing a USB-C receptacle or a DisplayPort source connector.

Other versions of this model
Plug the USB-C connector directly into a Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode; the cable carries the HBR3 32.4 Gbps link without adapters.
No routine maintenance is required; the solid copper conductors and triple shielding are built for the life of the cable.
The 32.4 Gbps HBR3 ceiling caps 4K at 144 Hz; higher refresh rates would exceed the available bandwidth.
