Connects 2.5 or 3.5 inch SATA and IDE drives plus 5.25 inch optical drives to USB 3.0 at up to 5Gbps with dual 40pin and 44pin IDE plus SATA III connectors
The Jansicotek E19 connects any standard 2.5in or 3.5in SATA or IDE hard drive, plus 5.25in optical drives, to a host via USB 3.0. It includes a dual-head IDE connector with 40pin and 44pin ports alongside a SATA III connector. The adapter supports drives up to 6 TB and works with Windows XP through 11 and Mac OS 10.X.
USB 3.0 delivers up to 5 Gbps bandwidth and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1. Three drives can be attached simultaneously through the IDE and SATA ports for concurrent data access. An on/off switch cuts power to attached drives during idle periods. LED indicators show power and activity status for each interface.
The unit draws power from the USB connection and an included supply for 3.5in drives, with no active cooling or moving parts. Silent operation suits office or home recovery tasks. Plug-and-play setup requires no driver installation on supported operating systems.

The adapter itself has no fan and draws little power, so it runs silently; sustained throughput is limited by the 5 Gbps USB 3.0 interface and the drive’s own thermal profile.
You need a mains-powered supply for the drive — the adapter provides data and 5 V only, so a 3.5-inch IDE unit requires its own external power brick.
Yes, the 40-pin IDE header supports 5.25-inch optical drives such as DVD-ROM, CD-RW and DVD±RW, and the SATA III port handles newer SATA optical units.
