Three-source HDMI 2.1 switch

This Jansicotek switch routes three HDMI 2.1 sources to a single display. It suits owners of a PS5, Xbox Series X, Apple TV or Blu-ray player who have only one HDMI 2.1 input on their TV or projector. A front-panel button and indicator LEDs show which source is active.

Replaces manual cable swapping

The unit removes the need to unplug and replug cables when changing between consoles, streamers or a PC. The jump is worth it when you regularly switch among three 4K 120 Hz or 8K 60 Hz sources and want instant, lossless handover without signal degradation.

Handles 48 Gbps 8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 Hz

Bandwidth of 48 Gbps carries 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz with Dynamic HDR, eARC and HDCP 2.2/2.3. It runs out when a fourth source is added or when a bidirectional matrix is required, as the device is strictly three-input, one-output.

Questions about this item

Does the switch need external power to run 8K at 60 Hz through its HDMI 2.1 ports?

The unit can operate without a power supply, but the manufacturer recommends adding one to guarantee stable 48 Gbps bandwidth for 8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 Hz signals.

How do I change between the three HDMI 2.1 inputs and what is the common mistake?

Press the single front button to cycle inputs; the common mistake is expecting automatic switching, but the switch only changes when you press the button.

What ongoing care does the 3-port HDMI 2.1 switch require?

No scheduled maintenance is needed; keep vents clear, use certified 48 Gbps cables, and reseat connections if an indicator LED shows the wrong active port.
