  • Distributes one HDMI source to eight displays simultaneously
  • Supports 1080p and 1440p video resolutions with 3D
  • Amplifies signal for longer HDMI cable transmission distances
  • Handles Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and LPCM 7.1
  • HDCP 2.2 compliant for protected content playback

Eight-way HDMI distribution

The Jansicotek HDMI splitter takes a single HDMI source and drives eight identical outputs simultaneously. It suits installers who need the same image on multiple screens in classrooms, conference rooms, retail signage or home-theatre setups. The unit handles signal buffering and amplification so longer cable runs stay reliable without extra repeaters. It is not for users who need independent content on each display.

Resolutions up to 1440p and multi-channel audio

Each port supports video formats up to 1440p including 1080p, 720p, 480p and 576p at standard refresh rates, plus 3D and deep-colour modes. Audio pass-through covers LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby AC3, DTS and DSD. The HDCP 2.2 implementation protects premium content but limits use with sources that require newer HDCP revisions. Bandwidth tops out at HDMI 1.3b, so 4K at 60 Hz and HDR metadata are not supported.

Metal chassis with eight HDMI outputs

A compact metal enclosure provides shielding and rack-mount friendly dimensions for permanent installs. Eight female HDMI ports on one side and a single input on the other keep cabling tidy in trunking or behind displays. The 6-second EDID handshake means displays sync quickly after power-up or source changes. No external power supply is mentioned, so the unit draws what it needs from the HDMI lines themselves.

Questions about this item

Will this 1×8 splitter work with my older 1080p monitors and 1080i sources?

Yes, the splitter accepts 1080i and 1080p at the input and replicates them across all eight HDMI outputs without downscaling.

How can I verify the splitter is passing 1440p and multi-channel audio correctly after I connect it?

Check each display’s on-screen info for 1440p resolution and confirm your AV receiver shows LPCM 7.1 or Dolby TrueHD bitstream when playing supported content.

Does the box include eight HDMI cables for the outputs, or do I need to buy them separately?

Only the splitter unit and its power supply are included; you must supply one HDMI cable for the input and up to eight cables for the outputs.
