Two-Pack 140W Magnetic USB-C Adapter

This Jansicotek LD140W set supplies two male-to-female USB-C adapters that each handle up to 140W Power Delivery at 28V/5A. They support USB4 data rates of 40Gbps and 8K video output at 60Hz. The 180° magnetic breakaway tips detach cleanly to protect ports from strain. A small cord strap is included for each unit.

Suits Thunderbolt 3 and 4 Laptop Users

Buyers with Thunderbolt 3 or 4 laptops who want a quick-release charging and data link will benefit from the magnetic connection and full 40Gbps throughput. Users whose devices only support lower USB standards will not reach the rated speeds or power. Anyone needing a right-angle or fixed-orientation connector should look elsewhere.

Adds a Breakaway Point to Existing Cables

Each adapter sits between a USB-C cable and the host port, so the cable and charger must already meet USB4 and 140W PD requirements. The magnetic tip frees the port from lateral stress and prevents accidental yanks. No driver installation is required; the adapter is passive and transparent to the host.

Questions about this item

What charger and cable do I need to get the full 140W charging speed from the LD140W adapter?

You need a USB-C charger and cable that both support USB Power Delivery at 28V/5A (140W). The adapter passes through whatever the source provides, so both must be rated for 140W.

Will the 180° magnetic connector still deliver 40Gbps data and 8K 60Hz video when used with a Thunderbolt 3 dock or cable?

Yes. The adapter is compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and USB4, so it maintains 40Gbps throughput and 8K 60Hz video through the magnetic joint when paired with certified Thunderbolt 3 or USB4 cables.

How can I confirm the LD140W is connected properly after plugging it in?

The built-in LED indicator lights up when the magnetic connection is solid, showing that power and data paths are active.
