Magnetic USB-C adapter 2-pack

This Jansicotek LD140W two-pack adds a magnetic break-away connection to any USB-C port. Each adapter carries a male-to-female layout so the host socket stays put while the cable releases under strain. The pair suits users who dock and undock a laptop many times a day and want to avoid port wear.

USB4 20Gbps 8K 60Hz upgrade

The adapters step up from basic USB-C cables by supporting USB4 speeds of 20Gbps and 8K video at 60Hz. The jump is worth it when you move large project files to an external SSD or drive a high-resolution external display without compression. Basic chargers or older hubs cannot sustain that throughput or video bandwidth.

Fits Thunderbolt 3 and 4 docks

Gold-plated 24-pin contacts maintain full Thunderbolt 3 and 4 pin-out so power, data and video negotiate automatically. The magnetic tip frees the laptop from cable tension while the included cord straps keep each adapter tethered when not attached. No extra drivers or firmware are required for compatible hosts.

Questions about this item

Does the 24-pin magnetic tip need a specific clearance to attach to my laptop port?

The right-angle magnetic connector sits flush against the USB-C port, so it only needs the few millimetres of space directly beside the port that any standard plug would require.

What is the step users most often miss when first installing the adapter?

Many people forget to leave the male magnetic tip inserted in the laptop port; the adapter only works when that tip stays in place and the female end snaps onto it magnetically.

Will the gold-plated pins or magnetic mechanism need periodic replacement?

The 24 gold-plated pins and magnetic coupling are rated for thousands of attach cycles and have no user-replaceable parts; normal use does not require scheduled replacement.
