Connects DisplayPort 1.4 devices at up to 32.4 Gbit/s with 8K 60 Hz, 4K 144 Hz and 2K 240 Hz support over 6.6 ft of triple-shielded copper
The Jansicotek LJ-DP8K is a male-to-male DisplayPort 1.4 cable measuring 6.6 ft. It is built for owners of 8K monitors, high-refresh 4K gaming panels or multi-stream transport setups who need a VESA-certified link with HBR3 bandwidth. The triple-shielded construction uses solid copper conductors to carry up to 32.4 Gbit/s.
The cable delivers 8K at 60 Hz, 5K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 2K at 240 Hz with HDR10 and HDCP 2.2 support. DSC and forward error correction preserve quality at the highest rates. Bandwidth runs out above 8K 60 Hz or 4K beyond 144 Hz, so 8K 120 Hz or 4K 240 Hz configurations are not supported.
Replacing a DisplayPort 1.2 or 1.3 cable removes the 4K 60 Hz ceiling and adds 8K 60 Hz, 4K 144 Hz and 2K 240 Hz headroom. The jump is worth it when a new monitor or GPU requires HBR3 bandwidth, HDR10 or multi-stream transport. It does not help if the source or sink is limited to DisplayPort 1.2 signalling.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the cable is backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2, 1.1, 1.1a and 1.0, so it will carry a signal to your DisplayPort 1.2 display at that version's maximum supported resolution and refresh rate.
Open your GPU control panel or Windows display settings and confirm the active resolution reads 4096 x 2160 at 144 Hz; the cable's HBR3 rating and 32.4 Gbit/s bandwidth support that mode.
The box contains only the DisplayPort male-to-male cable; no adapters are included, so a separate DisplayPort to HDMI adapter is required to connect to an HDMI input.
