The Jansicotek OZ8V1 extracts multi-channel audio from an HDMI 2.1 source and passes video through to a display. One HDMI input feeds one HDMI output plus Toslink, coaxial, 3.5 mm jack and a dedicated HDMI audio port. It handles resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz with 48 Gbps bandwidth.

Sustained 48 Gbps throughput for high-refresh gaming

The extractor maintains full 48 Gbps bandwidth during extended sessions, so 4K 120 Hz RGB 4:4:4 and 5120×1440 at 120 Hz remain stable without signal drops. Dynamic HDR, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision metadata pass through unchanged. Audio formats including LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-X and DTS-HD Master Audio are decoded continuously across all output ports.

Verify 7.1-channel sink and power requirements

The HDMI audio output delivers 7.1 channels only when the connected display or amplifier reports 7.1 support in its EDID; otherwise that port stays silent. ARC and eARC are not supported, so TV return-audio paths will not work. The unit requires the included 5 V / 1 A DC adapter for operation.
