It handles 24, 30 or 36 bit deep colour and passes DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD and other high-bitrate audio formats without alteration. The unit is built for installers, retailers and home users who need identical output on a pair of screens.

Passive Operation

No fan or active cooling is present; the aluminium enclosure dissipates the few watts drawn from the supplied USB cable. Power consumption stays low enough that a standard 5 V USB port on the source device or a nearby charger is sufficient. Operation is silent and adds no measurable heat to a rack or cabinet.

Build Integration

One HDMI input and two HDMI outputs connect with standard cables up to the bandwidth limit of 18.5 Gbps. The splitter supports mixed 4K and 1080p sinks by downscaling automatically or on demand, though 4:2:2 4K60 signals cannot be downscaled. It does not extend desktops or pass CEC commands, so control remains at the source.
