Jansicotek OZG1 1x3 SPDIF Splitter

This digital optical audio splitter takes a single SPDIF TOSLINK input and distributes it to three outputs. It is built for home-theatre owners, gamers and AV installers who need to send the same audio stream to multiple receivers, soundbars or recording devices simultaneously. The unit supports LPCM2.0, DTS and Dolby-AC3 formats.

Plug-and-play setup with USB power

Connect the source to the input port and up to three displays or amplifiers to the outputs, then power the unit from any USB 5 V supply using the included cable. No drivers or configuration are required. The main installation issue is forgetting the USB power connection, which leaves the splitter inactive, or exceeding the 40 m cable run where signal loss rises above .2 dB per metre.

Three-way distribution up to 40 metres

Each output can drive a Toslink cable up to 40 m when using low-loss fibre, handling a maximum baud rate of 16 Mbps at a 650 nm peak wavelength. The splitter draws no more than 100 mA and includes an automatic balance circuit plus ESD protection. It cannot amplify a degraded source signal, and it does not decode or down-mix multi-channel formats beyond the listed standards.
