This Jansicotek adapter converts analogue RCA composite video and stereo audio into a digital HDMI signal at 720p or 1080p 60Hz. It is intended for owners of PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, original Xbox, Nintendo 64, Wii, VCR, DVD players or set-top boxes that only provide yellow, white and red outputs. The white enclosure is compact and requires no software installation.

Plug-and-play with mandatory USB power

Connect the three RCA plugs to the source, the HDMI plug to the display, and the included USB cable to any 5V USB port or charger; the converter draws power from that port and will not function without it. No drivers are required and the unit auto-detects PAL, NTSC3.58, NTSC4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N input standards. A common issue is forgetting the USB power lead, which results in no picture or an unstable signal.

Steady 60Hz output during long sessions

The scaler maintains a constant 1080p60 or 720p60 frame rate without dropping frames during extended playback of tapes or retro gaming sessions. Output resolution is fixed at the selected 720p or 1080p setting and does not downscale further under load. Audio remains synchronised with video throughout.
