3 ft Toslink Optical Audio Cable

This Jansicotek T001A cable carries digital audio over a fibre core with male-to-male Toslink connectors. The 3 ft length suits short-range links between a TV, sound bar, games console or AV receiver. Gold-plated tips and a braided jacket protect the optical signal from corrosion and physical stress.

Home-theatre and console owners needing a short

The cable supports uncompressed PCM and compressed 5.1 to 7.1 Dolby AC-3 or DTS streams for surround setups. It will not work for devices that lack a standard Toslink port or for runs that exceed the supplied length. Buyers who need longer reach or a different connector type should look at other options.

Gold-plated male-to-male Toslink connectors

Each end uses a 24 K gold-plated male plug that mates with any standard Toslink (SPDIF) socket. The concentrated fibre lens reduces internal reflection for lossless transmission. The OD 2.2 / 5.0 mm braided construction adds durability without sacrificing flexibility.

Questions about this item

Will the 3 ft length reach from my older AV receiver to a new soundbar on the same shelf?

At 3 ft the cable spans typical shelf-to-shelf distances; the male-to-male Toslink ends plug straight into legacy SPDIF ports on receivers, TVs, consoles and soundbars.

How can I confirm the gold-plated Toslink connectors are seated correctly and passing a clean signal?

A firm click and a visible red light at each port show the lens is aligned; play multi-channel 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 Dolby AC-3 or DTS content and verify surround output on the receiver display.

Does the package include any adapters or converter boxes for equipment without optical ports?

The box contains only the 3 ft black fiber cable with 24K gold-plated male Toslink connectors; no adapters, converters or extra cables are supplied.
