Jansicotek TOSLINK cable for surround systems

This 6 ft digital optical cable carries multi-channel Dolby AC-3 and DTS signals between devices fitted with standard Toslink ports. Male-to-male connectors link soundbars, AV receivers, game consoles, TVs and other SPDIF-equipped gear. The fibre core transmits uncompressed PCM as well as 5.1, 6.1 and 7.1 compressed surround formats without electrical interference. It suits home-theatre builds and desktop audio chains that rely on optical links.

Gold-plated connectors

Corrosion-resistant 24K gold-plated tips ensure a snug fit and easy alignment when plugging behind racks or wall-mounted screens. The aluminium-alloy shell and 2.2/5.0 mm buffered fibre tolerate repeated insertion and tight bends without signal loss. A lightweight braided jacket resists kinking and abrasion during routing through cabinets or across floors. The construction targets longevity in both stationary and portable setups.

Ready to use with no extra adapters or software

The cable ships as a single 6 ft male-to-male assembly, so no separate couplers or gender changers are required. Plug it directly into any pair of Toslink sockets — whether on a PS4, satellite receiver, DAC, sound card or industrial optical interface — and the link is active. No drivers, firmware or configuration utilities are involved; the optical path simply passes the digital stream.

Questions about this item

What does the Toslink optical interface support for multi-channel audio?

The cable carries uncompressed PCM and compressed 5.1, 6.1 and 7.1 Dolby AC-3 or DTS surround sound over a standard Toslink (SPDIF) connection.

What connector size and gender does the cable use?

Both ends are male Toslink plugs with gold-plated metal shells; the fiber core is 2.2 mm and the overall jacket is 5.0 mm in diameter.

How do you install the cable without damaging the tips?

Remove the protective caps, align the keyed plug with the port and push straight in until it clicks; never force it at an angle or the lens can crack.
