16 ft DisplayPort 1.4 optical cable

This VESA certified fibre cable carries DisplayPort 1.4 signals over 16 ft without signal loss. It connects a PC or graphics card to a monitor, projector or VR headset using male to male connectors. The directional design requires the Source plug at the GPU and the Display plug at the screen. Gold plated contacts and a zinc alloy shell resist wear during repeated insertion.

Reversing the ends breaks the link completely because the optical transceivers are unidirectional.
