Connects a USB-C source to a DisplayPort 1.4 display at 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz over ten feet
The Jansicotek TJ-A055 is a 10 ft cable that converts a USB-C source signal to a DisplayPort 1.4 display input. It targets professionals and gamers who need high-resolution video output from laptops, tablets or desktops equipped with compatible USB-C ports. The unidirectional design carries video only and does not support power delivery.
Upgrading makes sense when the existing link caps out at 4K 60 Hz or lacks DSC support for higher refresh rates. The jump is worth it for users moving to 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz displays who need the full 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and HBR3 signalling. It also supersedes legacy DP 1.2 cables that cannot drive 5K or 8K resolutions.
The cable comfortably drives 7680x4320 at 60 Hz, 3840x2160 at 144 Hz and 2560x1440 at 240 Hz with 10-bit colour and DSC 1.2 compression. It runs out of headroom beyond 8K 60 Hz uncompressed or when the host USB-C port does not support DP Alt Mode with HBR3. Charging and data transfer are not available over this connection.

Other versions of this model
The cable measures 10 ft end to end; allow a few extra inches at each connector for the male-to-male plugs and the aluminium alloy shell so the bend radius stays gentle.
Plug the USB-C male connector into the Thunderbolt 3 or 4 port on your source device and the DisplayPort 1.4 male connector into the display; the cable is unidirectional and will not work if reversed.
The 24K gold-plated interfaces resist oxidation, so routine cleaning is unnecessary; the PVC jacket and triple shielding are built for long-term use with no scheduled replacement.
