Connects a USB-C device to a DisplayPort 1.4 monitor at 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz with 32.4 Gbps bandwidth
The Jansicotek TJ-A055 is a 6.6 ft cable that carries video from a USB Type-C source to a DisplayPort 1.4 display. It supports 8K at 60 Hz with 10-bit colour HDR and 4K at up to 144 Hz. The connection is unidirectional from USB-C to DisplayPort and does not carry power. It works with Windows, macOS, iPadOS and Android devices that provide a DisplayPort Alt Mode signal.
DisplayPort 1.4 delivers up to 32.4 Gbps across the link. VESA DSC 1.2 compression allows visually lossless 8K 60 Hz or high-refresh 4K and 2K modes without exceeding the physical bandwidth. The cable is backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 displays. Signal integrity is maintained over the full 6.6 ft length without external power.
Solid copper conductors and triple shielding reduce electromagnetic interference during extended sessions. Aluminium alloy connector housings dissipate heat from the active circuitry inside the USB-C plug. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation. The PVC jacket protects the cable from everyday bending and abrasion.

Other versions of this model
The aluminium alloy shell and triple-shielded solid copper conductors dissipate heat effectively, so the cable stays cool even during continuous 32.4 Gbps 8K 60 Hz operation.
The host USB-C port needs DisplayPort Alt Mode with HBR3 bandwidth; Thunderbolt 3 or 4 ports meet this requirement, while plain USB-C data-only ports will not carry the video signal.
Yes, the cable is backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.2, 1.3 and 1.1, so your existing 1.2 monitor will run at its native resolution and refresh rate without any configuration.
