The Jansicotek TJ-A114 is a 10 ft DisplayPort 2.0 cable rated for 80 Gbps bandwidth. It connects a DisplayPort source to a DisplayPort display with male-to-male gold-plated connectors. The 6.3 mm nylon-jacketed cable uses 30 AWG copper conductors and supports HDCP 2.2 for protected content playback.

Replaces older DisplayPort 1.2 or 1.4 links

Upgrading is worthwhile when the display requires 4K at 144 Hz or 165 Hz without compression, or when an 8K or 10K panel needs 60 Hz throughput. The cable is backwards compatible with DP 1.4 and 1.2 hardware, so existing GPUs and monitors work immediately. It does not suit builders who need a second cable for multi-monitor setups or runs longer than 10 ft.
