Connects a USB device to a VGA display for multi-monitor setups at up to 1920 x 1080 60 Hz
This Jansicotek adapter connects a USB-enabled laptop or desktop to a VGA monitor, projector or TV. It adds a second display for extended or mirrored desktop modes. The white, compact dongle draws power from the USB port so no external supply is needed. It suits office workers and travellers who need extra screen space on the move.
On a USB 3.0 port the adapter delivers 1920x1080 at 60 Hz; on USB 2.0 it falls back to 800x600 at 60 Hz. The jump is worth it when you need full 1080p clarity for documents, spreadsheets or presentations. If your only spare port is USB 2.0 the resolution drop makes the adapter unsuitable for detailed work.
Maximum resolution is capped at 1080p 60 Hz even on USB 3.0, so higher-resolution panels cannot be driven at their native settings. The analogue VGA output also means no audio path and no HDCP support for protected content. Buyers who need 4K output, high refresh rates or digital audio must choose a different interface.
